Privacy and Cookie Notice

Last updated: October 7, 2026

PreviewClick is designed so ordinary thumbnail testing happens in your browser. This notice explains when information stays local, when it is sent to a service, and the choices available to you.

Operator: Digital Commerce Assets L.L.C.

Local thumbnail testing

When you preview, check, or compare thumbnails without creating a share link, your selected images and entered video title are processed on your device. PreviewClick does not upload them, store them on its servers, or require an account or YouTube sign-in.

Shared comparisons and voting

If you explicitly create a public share link, the selected thumbnail copies and associated title are uploaded to provide that comparison. Anyone with the unlisted link can view it and vote. Shared comparisons expire after 30 days.

A browser/comparison cookie is used to limit duplicate votes. The service stores a one-way hash of the voting marker with the vote rather than the raw marker. Cloudflare provides the site and sharing infrastructure and processes ordinary connection information needed to deliver and secure requests.

Google Analytics in the United States

PreviewClick uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for eligible U.S. visits to measure page views and a limited set of genuine product actions: starting the thumbnail tool, successfully completing a thumbnail test, successfully completing a comparison, and clicking a disclosed affiliate link. Scroll, automatic outbound-click, site-search, form-interaction, video, and file-download measurements are disabled in the GA4 stream.

PreviewClick limits analytics page locations to the site origin and path. It does not send selected images, image URLs, video titles, other entered text, share codes, query strings, or affiliate destination URLs in its custom analytics events. Google may receive technical information that accompanies a web request, such as IP address and browser or device information, and processes analytics data under Google's terms.

Before loading GA4, PreviewClick asks a same-origin Cloudflare function whether analytics is eligible. It uses Cloudflare's request-country result and returns only an allow-or-deny response. GA4 is enabled only when Cloudflare identifies the request as United States and the browser is not sending Global Privacy Control. Missing or unknown country results, non-U.S. visits—including the European Union, United Kingdom, and Switzerland—and Global Privacy Control requests remain analytics-disabled.

For disabled visits, PreviewClick does not initialize Google measurement commands, request the Google tag, create GA cookies, or send analytics events. For eligible U.S. visits, GA4 may set analytics cookies. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, Google signals, and ad-personalization signals remain disabled. PreviewClick does not store a separate analytics consent or geography preference.

Cookies and privacy signals

The optional sharing and voting service uses a browser/comparison cookie to limit duplicate votes. Eligible U.S. analytics visits may receive GA cookies. The thumbnail preview, checking, and comparison tools work without GA4.

PreviewClick honors the Global Privacy Control signal by disabling GA4 for that request. You can also restrict or remove cookies using browser controls. Depending on where you live and whether a privacy law applies to PreviewClick, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about personal data processing. Contact the operator below to make an applicable request.

Affiliate links

Some links to TubeBuddy or Pikzels are affiliate links. PreviewClick may earn a commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. Clicking one leaves PreviewClick and sends a normal web request to the merchant, which then handles information under its own privacy notice. For analytics-eligible U.S. visits, PreviewClick records an affiliate-click event identifying only the merchant, placement, and query-free PreviewClick page—not what you purchase.

Feedback through BareFeedback

PreviewClick loads the third-party BareFeedback widget and its public project configuration when a page opens. This is independent of GA4 eligibility. The reviewed widget does not read or set cookies or browser storage, create a browser identifier, use session replay, or send your thumbnail or video title. Its project-configuration request uses omitted credentials.

Like any internet request, loading the script and configuration discloses request metadata to BareFeedback and its hosting provider, including the IP address needed for delivery, user-agent or browser information, timestamp, and request headers such as the referring page and site origin. BareFeedback states that it may keep request and error logs, but it does not publish a fixed retention period for them.

Nothing from the feedback form is sent until you choose Send feedback. Submission sends the feedback title and description, an optional email address if you enter one, the PreviewClick project identifier, and a source value identifying the widget. Do not include sensitive information. BareFeedback processes the submission for PreviewClick and makes it available to the site owner.

BareFeedback is a third-party processor/service provider for this feature. Because the reviewed widget does not intentionally read or write cookies or similar browser storage and is not an analytics or advertising tracker, PreviewClick treats it as a functional feedback service. A concise notice and privacy link appear beside the widget's Send feedback control.

Cloudflare delivery and logs

PreviewClick uses Cloudflare Pages to deliver the static website, a small Pages Function to make the analytics eligibility decision, and a Cloudflare Worker, D1 database, and R2 storage for optional shared comparisons and voting. Cloudflare necessarily receives request metadata such as IP address, country result, request URL and method, user agent, timestamps, and security or performance information.

The production sharing Worker currently has invocation logs enabled and persisted at 100% sampling. Traces and automated Issues are disabled, and no external log-export destination is configured. Application error logs can contain an error message, request path, or comparison code; the Worker does not intentionally log thumbnail bytes, video titles, vote-cookie values, or full request bodies.

The account currently uses Cloudflare's Workers Free plan. Cloudflare's current documentation lists three-day retention for Free Workers Logs, with a change to a seven-day default announced for December 1, 2026. This must be rechecked at deployment. Retention for Cloudflare's underlying operational, security, abuse, billing, and account audit records is governed by Cloudflare and is not fully configurable or confirmed in the PreviewClick project settings.

Retention and your rights

Shared comparisons have the 30-day period described above. The PreviewClick GA4 property's event-data retention setting is 14 months; standard aggregated GA4 reports are not governed by that setting. BareFeedback does not state a fixed period for feedback submissions or request/error logs; it says retention varies according to why the information is needed, including service, legal, dispute, and security purposes.

Privacy rights and business-coverage thresholds vary by location. Visitors can contact the operator to ask questions or make an applicable privacy request.
